This was the initial plusplan that I wrote about in the pdf I handed in. The feedback said that it was an ambitious plan, and yes it was. Since I was doing so many things at the same time I did not have the time to get far with this project. But I have started building the base, by collected materials from neighbors, thrift stores and the fabric market.

It was a new experience for me to start with a life size sculpture. I often work with smaller formats so this was a challenge. I had to experiment with size and sculpting shapes that resembled my ear but would also fit a human being inside.

I did not get to the technical part of my plan yet, since I started with the focus on the building of the ear, but when that part is finished I will go to the interaction station for the audio fragments that will be placed on the inside.
